Hoya Hearts

The Hoya Heart are growing in popularity and such a cute little gift for this time of year.

Known for its heart shaped leaves the proper name is Hoya Kerrii this is a very very slow growing plant but if you have that sole leaf long enough and treat it respectfully you’ll end up with something much more beautiful and striking.  Once it is a larger plant it will multiply unusual shaped leaves, as you might be able to guess, looks like a bush of green hearts! Very interesting and possibly very romantic.

Place in bright direct sun and water sparingly.  The strong the light the better.
